Refund Policy

This policy explains how refunds, statutory withdrawal rights, and subscription cancellations are handled for GeoRetina Chat2Geo purchases and subscriptions.

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to paid purchases and subscriptions for the GeoRetina Chat2Geo platform (“the Service”). It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Payments for Chat2Geo self-serve subscriptions are processed by Paddle as our Merchant of Record. For purchases completed through Paddle, refunds, statutory withdrawal rights, and subscription cancellations are handled under Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.

2. Refund and Withdrawal Rights

Eligible consumers may have a 14-day right to withdraw from a qualifying transaction where required by applicable law. If a subscription includes a free trial, that withdrawal period may apply after the free trial ends and the first paid transaction is completed.

Refund requests may also be reviewed on a discretionary basis under the applicable refund policy. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights or statutory rights that may apply in your jurisdiction.

3. Subscriptions and Renewals

You may cancel a subscription to prevent future renewal charges. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period and does not automatically refund past charges.

If a plan is upgraded, downgraded, changed, or cancelled during a billing cycle, any refund or credit will be handled according to the payment records, applicable buyer terms, refund policy, and any rights required by applicable law.

4. Technical or Product Issues

If you experience a technical issue or a material product issue that prevents access to the paid Service, please contact GeoRetina support first so we can try to resolve the issue.

If the issue cannot be resolved, the refund request may be reviewed in accordance with the applicable refund policy and consumer protection laws.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, exercise an applicable withdrawal right, or manage a subscription purchased through Paddle, use the “View receipt” or “Manage subscription” link in your Paddle transaction confirmation email, use the billing page in your Chat2Geo account where available, or visit Paddle buyer support.

6. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will be processed using the same payment method where possible. Refund timing depends on the payment provider, the payment method, and the issuing bank, and may take additional time to appear on the customer account.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” or “Last Updated” date on this page.
